Jaguar Paw where you will be doing the cave tubing. It will be a ½ hour hike up to through the
rainforest where you will commence cave tubing through the ancient underworld of the Mayas where
it is believed were the dwelling place of many Mayan Gods know as Lord of Death. Many sacred
rituals were done in these cave systems. You will spend 1 ½ hour caving through the cave systems.
Feel the gentle breeze, and see the ancient trees as you go through miles of jungle and riverside
trails. You will be amazed with what you see and the peace you will feel!
west of Belize City. The Belize Zoo is on 29 acres of tropical savanna! It exhibits over 125 animals all
native Belize. These animals are not in cages or surrounded by bars or barred concrete bunkers.
This is what makes it extremely interested because all animals are in their own habitat to let them feel
as comfortable as possible. Some of the animals at the zoo are as follows: tapir, vultures, deer,
spider monkeys, keel billed toucans, spectacular owl, ocelot, white lipped peccary, puma, collard
peccary, howler monkey, baboon, tayra, agouti, paca, jaguars, margay, snakes, jabiru stork, aviary,
crocodiles, kinkajou, jaguarondi, gray foxes, curassow, parrots, barn owls, coatimundi, raccoon,
hawks, collared aracari, falcon, eagle, crested guan, and the scarlet macaw.
